English book details Korea's democracy movements

The nonprofit Korea Democracy Foundation has published an English book on the country’s decades of struggles to achieve today’s vibrant democracy, officials said yesterday.

 

Entitled “The History of the Democratization Movement in Korea,” the book aims to help foreigners easily and correctly understand the country’s democratic transition and offer insight into its present democracy, they said.
