Economically inactive group tops 4 million

The economically inactive population reached over 4 million in 2009, marking a widened gap between economic recovery and employment recovery.
It is the highest figure since Statistics Korea introduced the data in 2003 and accounts for all unemployed 15 years-old or older and those who aren't actively seeking a job.
