National theater aims to promote traditional music

The National Theater of Korea will continue producing creative content based on traditional arts and try to draw more audiences to the venue through "gukak" (traditional Korean music) programs, its president Lim Youn-chul said. "This year we will focus on producing and staging high-quality performances - particularly those by our resident art companies," he said at a press conference in downtown Seoul, yesterday.
