Seoul steps up for Haiti

Since a devastating earthquake on Jan. 12 left at least 1 million Haitians homeless, Seoulites have joined the global outpouring of support for the Caribbean nation.

 

But while it’s been nearly a month since the quake struck, the death toll continues to grow and aid organizations are struggling to cope with the country’s decimated infrastructure. Those lucky enough to survive, now face a reality where water and food are scarce.
