Usher’s remarks about U.K. R&B artists to British tabloid The Daily Star were taken out of context, the American R&B sensation said at a press conference on Friday, a day before his first concert in Seoul.

In that interview, Usher hit out against his emerging British counterparts, saying “U.K artists are bringing down the true value of R&B.”
