‘Blind Date’ full of cliches, lots of laughs

One of the great pleasures of watching locally produced stage dramas at small venue playhouses is the feeling of intimacy you get with its characters and the actors who portray them.
Due to the limited space in these venues, it is especially all the more engaging when performers are standing quite literally a few meters away from the audience, regardless of the quality of the play.
