Korea powers into U20 WC semifinals

South Korea made it into the semifinals of the Under 20 Women’s World Cup in Germany after beating Mexico 3-1 on Sunday.

A brace for Lee Hyun-young and a goal for Ji So-yun ensured the Korean side a berth in the final four of the tournament for the first time, easing past the CONCACAF champion at the Rudolf-Harbig Stadium in Dresden.
