Researchers find engraved Neolithic artifacts in Uljin

Three earthenware pieces from the Neolithic Age with engravings of human faces were excavated in Uljin, North Gyeongsang Province, Friday. They are assumed to be over 7,500 years old.
The Samhan Institute of Cultural Properties found one item that is 14 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm in thickness with eyes, a nose and mouth engraved on it while excavating a roadway in Jukbyeon-myeon, Uljin.
