Korean scholar receives Ghandi, King, Ikeda prize

Park Han-sik, an internationally renowned scholar at the University of Georgia, Athens, was honored with the Ghandi, King, Ikeda Community Builder’s Prize last Thursday at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
The prize, established in 2001, is named after Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Daisaku Ikeda. It honors those who demonstrate global leadership through nonviolence and reconciliation, and is presented annually by Morehouse College, King’s alma mater.
