Andre Kim brand to go public

The business estate of Korea’s most prolific fashion icon, the late Andre Kim will go public as a corporation under a new name, Andre Kim Design Atelier, the company said Monday.

The firm officially announced that Kim’s 30-year-old adopted son, Kim Joong-do, would take the helm of the company as head of the fashion house. The date of the change in ownership structure has not yet been decided.
