The Sagres is more than a training tall ship -- it is a floating embassy that facilitates a fundamental role of diplomacy and people-to-people exchanges.
The Sagres anchored in Incheon last week for a four-day visit during which it opened its doors to the general public.
Visitors had the opportunity to board and walk around one of the most beautiful tall ships on the seven seas, have contact with its 200 crew members, taste some Portuguese cuisine and learn a little bit more about a country on the opposite end of Eurasia.
