GM Daewoo Auto and Technology Co.’s much-publicized Alpheon sedan finally made its way onto the local market Tuesday.

For GM Daewoo, whose lineup is focused on smaller vehicles, much is riding on the Alpheon as its past ventures into the larger segments, such as the Statesman and the Veritas, brought limited success.
