Full-speed electric car unveiled

Hyundai Motor Co. unveiled the world’s second and the nation’s first full-speed electric vehicle Thursday, with mass-production planned to start next year.

“I hope Korea can lead the budding global electric automobile market some day, since the age of electric cars is approaching faster than expected,” said President Lee Myung-bak at the launching ceremony of “BlueOn” at Cheong Wa Dae.
