Prosecutors plan to summon Taekwang Group chairman Lee Ho-jin for questioning this week, in an intensifying investigation into corruption at the nation’s 40th largest conglomerate.

Lee is suspected of creating slush funds and illegally bribing government officials for changes to the broadcasting law in 2008, which allowed the group to acquire a cable TV company.
