LG launches world’s largest 3-D TV

LG Electronics on Wednesday said it has launched the world’s largest LED-backlit LCD television featuring 3-D, a move aimed to better cater to consumer demands for 3-D on a wider screen.

The 72-inch screen is the largest among globally available LCD televisions illuminated with LED, and also among all flatscreen 3-D televisions, the world’s No. 2 television-maker said.
