Germany’s Volkswagen Passat broke the Guinness World Record by covering 2,464 kilometers -- the distance from London to Malaga, Spain -- without stopping to refuel, the British Daily Telegraph reported Monday.

The Passat Bluemotion’s average fuel consumption was 145 kilometers per gallon (4.5 liters).
