Text messages can be evidence in divorce suits

Text messages shared with a paramour can now be considered as possible evidence for divorce, according to a court ruling Monday.

The case involved a wife, surnamed Kim, who won a divorce settlement against her husband, surnamed Park, and was granted 50 million won ($44,750) and half of the estate. Park was found to have been sending explicit text messages to another woman.
