Ex-governor Sohn wins DP leadership

Former Gyeonggi Province Governor Sohn Hak-kyu won the chairmanship of the main opposition Democratic Party after a tightly fought leadership race Sunday at Incheon Munhak World Cup Stadium.

Sohn assumed the top party post as he garnered the most votes among the seven candidates elected to its decision-making Supreme Council.
