South Korean President Lee Myung-bak on Monday emphasized the importance of a partnership between Asia and Europe to "improve the quality of life" and solicited support for Seoul's plan to host a G-20 summit in November, as leaders from the two continents opened a two-day meeting in Brussels, Yonhap News reported.
