If there are sports flicks like the 1993 film “Rudy,” where a weak kid goes on to be a big American football star, or the 1950s “The Jackie Robinson Story,” about a black baseball player who crossed the major-league color-line and joined the Brooklyn Dodgers, or the 1986 “Hoosiers,” an underdog 1950s basketball team winning the state championship then the story about an Aussie horse breaker might be better than your average tearjerker.
The life of 47-year-old Australian Peter Wolsley was about to change when he left Dubai to work in sales on the Gold Coast, until his one-time colleague in China introduced him to the Korea Racing Authority in Busan. He decided it was time for a change and headed to Korea to dominate the competition.
