Three hippopotamuses in a Chinese zoo might be pleased to know that there oral hygiene is now in safe hands. The zoo has developed an 120 centimeter-long toothbrush to replace the broom, which was used before, the Chinese Shanghai Daily reported Thursday.

Zookeepers at the Shanghai zoo are dedicated to ensuring the oral health of their animals by brushing their teeth. They invented the toothbrush for the health of the animals, and will use it in the animals’ display for the public. They remove dust stuck in the gaps between hippos’ teeth every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
