Hijacked S. Korean oil tanker released

A South Korean oil tanker and its 24 crew members, hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean some seven months ago, has been set free, Seoul’s Foreign Ministry confirmed Saturday.
The 319,360-ton Samho Dream carrying five Koreans and 19 Filipinos was seized by the pirates on April 4 en route from Iraq to the U.S. state of Louisiana.
