Twenty-three lawmakers of the ruling Grand National Party on Thursday vowed not to join physically forced parliamentary proceedings to ratify the free trade agreement between South Korea and the United States.

 

The group including 15 rookie legislators issued a statement in which they expressed regret for taking part in the railroading of next year’s state budget bill last week and pledged to refuse involvement in any more forceful undertakings.
