Jobs, inflation top Korea’s priorities for coming year

The government said Tuesday it will prioritize price control and job creation in 2011 marking a shift from this year’s expansionary economic policies.
In its package of policy plans for next year, the Finance Ministry offered an optimist projection that the economy would expand around 5 percent on the back of resilient exports and stronger consumption. The figure is higher than other forecasts by the central bank and private think tanks.
