With Christmas fast approaching, year-end parties are fast filling reservations at restaurants and bars. But employers should be aware they could be held accountable for office party mishaps.

 

According to the Seoul Administrative Court, employees injured during office parties can file personal injury compensation claims against employers. Work parties become official work events if the top manager and a majority of employees attend and the company credit card is used to sponsor the event.
